Protection for transporting pharmaceuticals: Pelican Biothermal to partner with Wilpak Global
20 Nov 2018 --- Pelican Biothermal, supplier of temperature-controlled packaging, is to partner with Wilpak Group International to offer its customers the option to utilize Wilpak’s thermal protection covers for the worldwide transportation of pharmaceutical payloads.
“We are pleased to announce our global distribution partnership with Wilpak,” says Kevin Lawler, Vice President of Sales at Pelican BioThermal.
“Their thermal covers utilize advanced technology to provide an additional thermal protection option for our customers. We welcome this latest collaboration with a fellow industry leader, specializing in the latest technology offering thermal protection performance.”
Wilpak’s thermal innovations complement the shipper systems deployed by Pelican BioThermal. When deployed during transportation, InsulCap thermal covers provide additional protection from rapid temperature changes or when the cold chain is broken.
“We are delighted to be the exclusive distributor of thermal covers for Pelican BioThermal through our InsulCap line. We are dedicated to collaborating with them to deliver world-leading thermal protection innovations,” says Adam Wilson, Managing Director of Wilpak Group International.
The custom designed, reusable and recyclable thermal covers provide Pelican BioThermal customers with additional protection options against exposure to extreme hot and cold temperature spikes, helping to avert temperature excursions within the distribution chain.
